General Details

Position title: Motion Graphics Manager

Reports to: Head of Content

Purpose: The Motion Graphic Manager is required to understand the design elements of projects, coordinate the Motion Graphic Teams, and keep projects on time.


Job Description

Key Duties:

  • Supervise the Motion Graphics Team: Art Production, Main Template Production and Template Variations Production

  • Work with the Team Leads to ensure that the Content production process is carried on properly and that the goals are met.

  • Take direction from the Head of Content and deliver the requested market focus and art/style.

  • Cooperate with the rest of the creative team.

  • Manage and delegate responsibilities to the Motion Graphics Leads and provide direction.

  • Encourage creativity and productivity

What a typical day like?

Managers are always moving from one task to another, from talking to creatives, to looking to pipeline analytics, always making sure the team is creating the right templates efficiently.

 

What is the process, from idea to final product?

 We have a calendar of needed templates that are assigned to your team by the Head of Content. From that point on, it is your task to make sure these get delivered with quality and on time. In the case of animation, the product goes from the static art creation where all the visual assets are made to the animation team where everything comes alive.

 

How can I contribute to the team?

Managers are a very important part in the Placeit structure. As a one of them, you could contribute to the success and growth of our artists, our animators and Placeit as a company. You can propose better processes or pipelines to deliver our templates in a quicker way, or maybe automate certain parts of the process to avoid mistakes.
